Lady Justice is one of the most recognized symbols of justice and our legal system; including many other countries around the world. There are many renditions of Lady Justice. At Domnick & Shevin, PL., we chose Gerechtigkeitsbrunnen (Fountain of Justice), which can be found in the center of the Romerberg in Frankfurt, Germany.

She is represented without the blindfold, but holds her traditional features — sword of justice in her right hand, and the scales of justice in her left hand. The scales that she holds represent the impartiality with which justice is served and the sword signifies the power that is held by those making the decision.
